Hybrid Cabinet Solar Dryer is used to dry food materials such as fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, mushroom, cray fish etc. using generated heat from either solar radiation ,(Sunlight) and/or alternative heater.

This Hybrid Cabinet Solar Dryer is designed and fabricated to generate heat from dual sources, i.e. Solar Radiation (Sunshine) and alternative AC heater powered on electricity / generating set / off-grid supply (provided by customer).

The alternative AC heater is an energy efficient heater suitable for use in a solar dryer. It improves drying efficiency and drying rate by stabilizing temperature. The heater complements drying when sun is not sufficient or available hence the need for client to provide power source (from generator, electricity or off-grid power).

N.B: Client provides power for the alternative heater, e.g. The heater requires electricity or generating set or off-grid supply.
